Instructions Written Instructions on how to make a button on Photoshop Step #1: Open Adobe Photoshop Step #2: Click on File and then click on New Step #3: Once you have clicked on New change the width to 125 pixels, the height to 50 pixels and the resolution to 72 pixels/cm. Then click Okay. Step #4: Go to Layer at the top of the screen, and click on it, then go down to New and then Layer. (Everytime you need to add a new detail to the button you have to make a new layer). It is recommened that you name each layer to help keep things organized. Step #5:Click on the Paint Bucket Tool at the side bar, adjust to whatever colour you want, then click on the button to apply the colour. Step #6: Now we are going to add in a design so you will have to create another layer, all you need to do is repeat step #4. Step #7:Click on the Brush Tool atthe side bar, then adjust to what ever colour, and shape you want at the top section. Step #8: Make your desired design on the button. Step #9: You would want to add text, so again you are going to have to make another layer. (Repeat step #4). Step #10:Click on the Horizontal Text Tool on the side bar, and then click on your button, and start typing. You can change the font and colour and style of the text at the top section of the page. Once you have finished typing you need to click on the check mark at the top right hand side of the page.
